Tenure Track Assistant Professor

The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Fordham University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Inorganic Chemistry beginning in Fall 2027 at the Rose Hill campus. Candidates should hold a Ph.D. in Chemistry and have postdoctoral research experience. Areas of specialization include experimental and theoretical approaches in inorganic chemistry, broadly defined, including coordination chemistry, bioinorganic chemistry, organometallic chemistry, catalysis, and solid-state/materials chemistry.

The successful applicant is expected to establish a strong, externally funded research program that engages undergraduate researchers and leads to publications in peer-reviewed journals. Teaching responsibilities will include inorganic chemistry lecture and laboratory courses, with the possibility of teaching general chemistry or courses aligned with the candidate's expertise.
