Event Marketing Manager Full Time (NYC, In-Office) As Event Marketing Manager at Sneaker Con, you’ll lead the charge in planning, launching, and executing high-impact marketing campaigns for the world’s premier sneaker event. From ticket launches to localized outreach and digital creative, you’ll be responsible for driving attendance, fan engagement, and revenue across 30+ global events annually. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, hands‑on execution and strong collaboration across internal and external teams. You’ll work closely with the content, creative, brand, growth and partnership personnel to make each event a success. RESPONSIBILITIES Event Ticket Launch Marketing Build and manage the marketing calendar for ticket launches across all events Set up ticket pages on Eventbrite and SneakerCon.com Launch and maintain Facebook Events and update IG bio links and Linktree pages Schedule and post launch announcements across IG/FB/Twitter Track and report on ticketing milestones and performance weekly Email & SMS Marketing Own the full email/SMS calendar for ticketing and brand campaigns Schedule lifecycle messaging (60/30/14/1 day before event) and flash promos Build and segment audience lists for effective targeting Manage automated flows (ticket confirmation, reminders, abandoned cart, etc.) Report performance weekly and recommend optimizations Localized Event Marketing Coordinate outreach to local college reps, clubs, and ambassadors Manage press outreach (event listings, sneaker blogs, local news outlets) Build and manage local retail partnerships and flyer/poster distribution Source and organise community influencers for event amplification Campaign Performance + Budgeting Collaborate with growth team to monitor ticket revenue performance and CPA Report on campaign‑level insights (audience, message, and platform wins) Help manage event‑specific ad budgets across channels Support strategy on retargeting and regional demand pacing Create and maintain a calendar for DROPS, exclusives, and brand moments Work with content/creative teams to support product storytelling pre‑event Partner with collaborators on rollout timelines and co‑promotion strategy Qualifications 3–5 years experience in event marketing, growth, or brand activation Hands‑on experience with ticketing platforms (Eventbrite, etc.) Knowledge of email/SMS platforms (Klaviyo, Postscript, etc.) Experience briefing and managing performance creative Strong understanding of social media platforms and paid performance tactics Passion for sneaker culture, streetwear and the events space Detail‑oriented project manager with excellent communication skills Social Media Assistant Full-Time/Part-Time (NYC, In-Office) Sneaker Con is looking for a sharp, detail‑oriented Social Media Assistant to support our day‑to‑day publishing and content operations across all platforms. This is an ideal role for someone early in their marketing career who thrives on calendars, structure, and fast‑paced culture and wants to gain hands‑on experience with one of the most influential names in the sneaker world. You won’t need to set the strategy — we’ll guide the planning — but you’ll play a key role in making sure nothing slips through the cracks, and everything gets posted, scheduled, tracked and visually polished on time. RESPONSIBILITIES Publishing & Scheduling Maintain and update content calendars for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Threads, Facebook and Twitter/X Schedule all posts in Sprout, Meta Planner or native tools — double‑checking accuracy and timing Track weekly post performance and file basic recap reports Content & Asset Prep Dig through our image archive and past event coverage to find visuals for carousel posts and campaigns Assist in light graphic design and photo resizing using Photoshop, Canva or equivalent Prepare carousel posts for Instagram (image cropping, order, overlays, etc.) Event Support Assist on‑site at select Sneaker Con events to support real‑time filming, social coverage and BTS moments Capture supplemental content when needed (phone‑based clips, behind‑the‑scenes, creator shoutouts, etc.) Team Coordination Take clear notes and follow‑ups during content planning meetings Help organise folders, captions and asset naming for better workflow and handoff REQUIREMENTS 1–2 years of experience in social media, content support or marketing internships You live by your Google Calendar and checklists — organized to a fault Familiarity with Instagram, TikTok and YouTube content formats Basic Photoshop or Canva experience (comfortable resizing, exporting, and prepping assets) Must be NYC‑based and available for in‑office work plus some travel to events You’re passionate about sneaker culture, streetwear and everything surrounding it. Social Video Content Editor Full Time (NYC, In-Office) Sneaker Con is looking for a creative and culturally tuned‑in Social Video Content Editor to lead the creation of short‑form video across TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts. This role is responsible for visually bringing the brand to life across platforms with high‑performing, trend‑savvy content that speaks directly to the sneaker and collecting community. RESPONSIBILITIES Edit and produce vertical‑first video content for TikTok, IG Reels and YouTube Shorts using tools like Adobe Premiere, CapCut, After Effects or similar. Receive content filmed by staff or travel to Sneaker Con events across the U.S. and internationally to capture on‑site content. Strategically set up coverage at events using a combination of handheld and stationary devices to ensure multiple angles and moments are captured across the venue. Proactively identify, stage or capture potential viral moments at events—editor must have a strong understanding of what makes content shareable and emotionally resonant. Build video concepts that mix evergreen franchises and trend‑based formats tailored to each platform. Collaborate with social and marketing teams to ensure consistency in voice, tone and visuals. Turn around quick, scroll‑stopping edits from live events, surprise celebrity drop‑ins or real‑time community reactions. Stay up to date on social platform trends, algorithm changes, and meme culture to inform content strategies. Utilise both professional‑grade editing software and mobile‑first apps to create a wide range of content styles. Track and analyse performance metrics to continually improve engagement and reach. QUALIFICATIONS 2–4 years of short‑form video editing experience focused on social platforms. Proficiency in tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, Final Cut, After Effects or similar. Deep familiarity with sneaker culture, collecting culture, streetwear and pop/internet culture. A sharp eye for visual storytelling and viral trends. Experience with both user‑generated content and polished brand campaigns. Comfort with fast‑paced environments and quick turnarounds. Ability to think both creatively and strategically, with an interest in developing recurring content formats. Bonus: Filming/shooting experience (DSLR, mobile rig setups, audio handling). Illustrator / Graphic Artist (Freelance or Contract‑to‑Hire) Location: Remote or NYC‑Based Preferred Sneaker Con is seeking a versatile and highly skilled Illustrator / Graphic Artist to lead the creative vision for our global series of sneaker events. From collectible event posters to merch graphics and digital visuals, this role brings each city to life with bold, style‑forward artwork. We’re looking for someone who can not only draw but adapt across a range of illustration styles depending on the audience, market or moment. If you have a unique eye, a strong handle on storytelling through graphics, and the technical skills to deliver across platforms, we want to hear from you. Key Responsibilities Create original event artwork in multiple illustration styles—from character‑driven posters to city‑specific designs. Design cohesive visual systems that extend across print, digital, apparel and in‑event signage. Execute high‑impact typography and clean, expressive layout design. Prepare artwork for pre‑press, including CMYK separations and screen print‑ready deliverables. Collaborate with the creative and events teams to translate the culture of each city into collectible art. Work primarily in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop with occasional layout work in InDesign. Utilise 3D tools like Blender for supplemental assets and dimensional visuals where needed. Requirements Minimum 3 years of professional experience creating illustration‑led graphics for events, editorial, campaigns or brands. A well‑rounded illustration portfolio that shows multiple stylistic approaches. Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. Strong typography, colour theory, and composition skills. Familiarity with screen printing and pre‑press workflows (including CMYK separations). Detail‑oriented and self‑motivated with the ability to meet tight deadlines. Blender experience is a strong plus. Not required but a big plus: Experience with CAD and product design especially in apparel or merchandise. Performance/Digital Marketing Manager As a Performance Marketing Manager at Sneaker Con, you will be responsible for driving growth for the brand through acquisition and retention across various marketing channels. You will be joining a team that is passionate about sneakers and the culture that surrounds them. Responsibilities – Strategise, manage, and optimise performance marketing channels especially Facebook, Instagram and TikTok to acquire and retain customers – Other channels include paid search, display, influencer marketing and CRM. – Manage the testing framework and feedback loop for the brand team to continuously iterate on paid advertising creative efforts. – Test new channels to scale growth for the business in new and existing markets. – Manage the performance marketing budget to ensure the highest return on investment. – Collaborate with the Leadership team and Finance team to understand the economics of the business and build sustainable growth strategies. – Collaborate with content team to deliver assets needed for various channels ensuring outputs are on‑brand and on‑message. – Monitor, measure and report on campaign performance, budgeting and conduct ad hoc analyses. – Utilise customer LTV models to understand the impact of paid marketing and make strategic changes. – Stay up to date with new product features, strategies, and testing opportunities. – Collaborate with Growth Analytics to improve user‑level tracking, CRO, attribution modelling and new projects as they come up. Qualifications – BA/BS degree in business, marketing, economics, finance or equivalent hands‑on experience considered. – Minimum 4 years of experience in relevant fields (growth, performance, digital marketing, finance and/or economics). – Experience in strategy, building and scaling acquisition and retention channels. – Hands‑on executional experience of paid social and or paid search platforms. – Excellent Excel and critical thinking skills – must be able to interpret raw data into meaningful insights, KPIs, and narratives. – Proficient in the economics of performance marketing. – Passionate about performance marketing / growth marketing. – Project management experience; agile marketing is a plus. – Good communication skills and the ability to interface effectively with stakeholders. – E‑commerce, marketplace or online retail experience is a plus. – Sneaker culture knowledge and interest is a plus.
