Engineer III

Position Title: Engineer III Location Pulse Point location at 740 W. Peachtree St NW, Atlanta, GA 30308. Candidates must be within a reasonable commuting distance from the posting location (hybrid/virtual work policy applies unless an accommodation is required by law). Work Hours Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. Responsibilities Design test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures for large-scale distributed projects. Write test plans, cases, and scripts to ensure requirements are tested. Design and develop automated test scenarios using Java/Selenium–based BDD framework. Execute manual and automated tests, document and publish results and execution status. Conduct debugging and issue research through Splunk by checking logs to identify root causes. Create test plan schedules or strategies per project scope or delivery dates. Establish functional testing strategy, test plan, and automated test suites. Recommend and implement improvements to testing activities and processes under SAFe Agile. Own tests, including planning strategy, test coverage, manual/automated execution, issue resolution, and retesting. Report defects, apply critical thinking toward quality, and perform risk‑based analysis using Q‑Test, Jira, and Confluence. Collaborate with Product Management, Business Analysts, Developers, and Solution Architect to understand product requirements. Obtain product approval on test designs and incorporate changes suggested during reviews. Identify, analyze, and document problems with program output, screens, or content, and assist with implementing testing programs. Run Oracle/DB2 SQL queries to investigate bugs. Participate in sprint test automation and functional testing to prioritize regression scenarios for automation and support monthly releases. Conduct retrospective meetings on deliverables and capture continuous learning opportunities in the test management tool. Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Minimum three (3) years of experience in IT or related occupations. Experience Requirements Three (3) years of experience with Java, SQL, SOAP UI or Postman, Jira, manual testing, and automated testing using Selenium. Experience with Q‑Test.
