Growing together.We seek a Per Diem Pharmacy Technician/Delivery Driver to support all functions of the Genoa mental health and specialty pharmacy primarily through dispensing medical prescriptions and performing necessary clerical duties while under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.Pharmacy Hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 4:30pm (Lunch 12:30pm - 1pm)Schedule: Per Diem working on a need basis covering PTO, callouts and other business needs. Location hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm with lunch from 12:30pm to 1:00pmLocation: 1527 Albia Road, Suite P, Ottumwa, IA, 52501 (home site) and all other Genoa locations within the state of IowaPrimary Responsibilities:Provides exceptional customer service to all consumers and members of the clinic staffFills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under direct supervision of the registered pharmacistOrders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy suppliesReceives and processes wholesaler medication ordersVerifies medication stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory recordsWorks with the Pharmacist to assist in the pharmacy functions and keeping the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirementsPerforms various clerical duties relating to the departmentCommunicates with strong professional verbal and written communication skillsCoordinate delivery routesProvide timely and accurate completion of deliveries in an efficient and courteous mannerVerify receipt and provide signature for receipt of items deliveredProcess any required paperwork according to established proceduresVehicle maintenanceReturn attempted deliveries to pharmacy according to pharmacy policiesOther duties as assignedWhat are the reasons to consider working for UnitedHealth Group? The hourly pay for this role will range from $16.15 to $28.80 per hour based on full-time employment.
