Medical Assistant PositionMedical Assistant needed for Derm office in Decatur and Covington to work with Dr. Delaporte (New). Tuesday-Friday. MONDAYS are Off. Four 10-hour days. Two days in Decatur and two days in Covington. Must be polished, presentable and have a great and organized personality. They will be working with a new doctor.4/10 hour days, 7:00-5:00Pay: $22-$25/hrThey do not have to be certified with experience.Duties:Prepare patients for examsSet up and assist provider with for all medical proceduresType efficientlyhistory, vitalsAssist with biopsies, surgeries and cosmetic proceduresCall patients with resultsE-scribing prescriptionsHandle prior authorizationsKnowledge of sterile technique and wound careInstrument cleaning/sterilization careDocument visitSchedule appointmentsStock rooms with suppliesGeneral housekeeping dutiesEMR exp.
