Respiratory Therapist

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to assess and meet patients' respiratory care needs through various treatment modalities. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring an exceptional patient and family experience by optimizing all customer interactions.

Key Responsibilities

Assess patients' respiratory care requirements based on a variety of data.
Plan, organize, and perform therapeutic procedures to address identified needs.
Evaluate patient responses to treatments and modify care plans as necessary.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to enhance the overall patient care experience.
Maintain accurate documentation regarding patient assessments and treatment outcomes.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a respiratory therapy role.
Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) is mandatory.
Current Pennsylvania state license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist.

Schedule

This position offers 36 hours per week, with a schedule that includes every other weekend and every other holiday. There is no call requirement for this role.
