Collision Estimator

JOB SUMMARY Collision Estimator – Service Center Elgin, Southwest. Perform all‑purpose duties including writing estimates, conducting process reviews, checking in customer vehicles, completing final customer paperwork prior to vehicle delivery (DRP, final invoice), finalizing total loss administration, and providing post‑repair plan communication while complying with safety rules, guidelines, and company standards. RESPONSIBILITIES Write estimates and conduct process reviews Check in customer vehicles Complete final customer paperwork (DRP, final invoice) Finalize total loss administration Provide post‑repair plan communication and status updates to customers REQUIREMENTS 2+ years of collision estimating experience; sales experience preferred 21 years of age or older Valid driver’s license and eligibility for company insurance coverage Motor Vehicle Physical Damage Appraisers License ABILITIES / SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE Physical ability to reach, kneel, bend, squat, and lift over 50 lbs Prior experience with CCC1 or similar estimating software Understanding of repair processes/procedures Strong sales orientation Comprehension of written and verbal instructions Ability to prioritize competing tasks in a fast‑paced environment BENEFITS Immediately eligible for medical, dental, and vision benefits Competitive pay – $32–36 per hour, paid weekly Paid vacation and holidays accrue from day one Paid skilled trainings and certifications (I‑CAR) Career growth opportunities with promotions from within Caliber is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
