Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations across one or more entities. This role is responsible for full-cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, general ledger maintenance, month-end close support and reconciliations. The ideal candidate combines strong bookkeeping fundamentals with analytical skills, process discipline, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Accounts Payable Assist with full AP cycle including invoice intake, coding, approvals, and posting Verify invoice accuracy, contract compliance, and proper authorization Match invoices to purchase orders, receipts, and vendor agreements Assist in processing payments via ACH, wire, check, and online payment platforms Maintain vendor master data records, W-9 documentation, and onboarding controls Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or duplicate invoices Assist in preparing AP accruals and assist with 1099 reporting Accounts Receivable Assist with full AR lifecycle including billing, collections, and customer payment posting Post and reconcile lockbox, ACH, wire, and check paymentsMonitor receivable aging and follow up on past‑due balances Investigate unapplied cash, short payments, or disputes Reconcile customer deposit and advanced payment account Generate invoices based on contracts, rent schedules, milestones, or recurring billing General Accounting & Close Support Prepare journal entries including accruals, reclasses, allocations, and amortization Perform monthly bank and cash account reconciliations and support intercompany reconciliations Track daily cash activity and assist with short‑term cash flow reporting Support month‑end and year‑end close processes Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate variances Assist in maintaining fixed asset schedules and depreciation entries Ensure financial records are audit‑ready and well documented Assist with Expense port analysis and travel policy adherence Support accounting clean‑ups, system implementations, or entity restructures Required Qualifications 5+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience in a full‑cycle role Strong understanding of AP, AR, GL, and reconciliations Experience working with multiple entities or business units preferred Proficiency in accounting systems and Excel‑based reporting High attention to detail and strong problem‑solving skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Preferred Qualifications Associate’s Degree in Accounting/Finance Compensation $60,000 to $75,000 based on experience Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship We offer a competitive salary and benefit package including health insurance, life insurance, 401(k), paid vacation, paid holidays and long‑term disability.
