Registered Nurse (RN) - PACU

RN – PACU

Schedule: - Shift: Evening – 12HR (9a-9p / 10:30a-11p) - Call requirement: Weekday call

Assignment Details: - Contract duration: 16 weeks - Guaranteed hours: 36-40 hours per week

Requirements: - Active and clear RN license in the state - BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications - Minimum 2 years of PACU experience - Experience recovering critical care patients - EPIC EMR experience required

Roles & Responsibilities: - Provide post-anesthesia care to patients in a PACU setting. - Monitor patients' vital signs and overall condition as they recover from anesthesia. - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. - Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure a smooth transition for patients. - Educate patients and their families about post-operative care and recovery.

Compliance / Notes: - Dress code: Any color scrubs - Services include various surgical specialties, primarily managing adults with some pediatric cases.
