Cardiology Advanced Practice Provider Opportunity

Ascension Texas Cardiovascular is seeking a dedicated Cardiology Advanced Practice Provider to deliver high-quality patient care in Round Rock, TX.

Join an established team of six physicians and two Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).

Combined inpatient and outpatient practice setting.

Employed position within a trusted nonprofit health system.

Guide patient care journeys across both inpatient and outpatient settings, managing complex cardiac conditions and electrophysiology (EP) procedures to optimize long-term outcomes.

Collaborate closely with cardiologists on pre-procedure workups, post-intervention recovery, and urgent inpatient consultations to ensure swift patient stabilization.

Educate patients and their families on disease management, risk reduction, and procedure outcomes to empower shared decision-making.

Ensure seamless continuity of care through effective communication with multidisciplinary teams and accurate, timely documentation.

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Drug Enforcement Admin credentialed from the Drug Enforcement Administration preferred.

Education:

• Master's degree of Nursing required.
