Food Packaging Associate

The Food Packaging Associate is responsible for preparing, packing, labeling, and inspecting food products in accordance with quality and safety standards. This role plays a key part in ensuring that food items are packaged efficiently and hygienically for distribution.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor packaging machinery and equipment
• Package food products according to company specifications
• Perform quality checks to ensure consistency, freshness, and correct labeling
• Label, seal, and box finished products for shipment
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines (GMP, HACCP, etc.)
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Report equipment malfunctions or product inconsistencies to supervisors
• Assist in inventory checks and stock rotation
• Work collaboratively with other team members to meet production targets

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous experience in food manufacturing or packaging is a plus
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Basic math and reading skills
• Ability to follow safety procedures and written instructions
• Comfortable working in cold or refrigerated environments (if applicable)

Physical Requirements

• Able to lift up to 3050 lbs regularly
• Able to work in fast-paced, sometimes noisy environments
