Requirements MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center is looking for a Locum Orthopedic NP to fill their need! : August is still possibleMon-Fri 8a-5pWeeknight callWeekends: 24 Hour coverage - as neededInpatient responsibilities: Yes - rounding on post-op patients inpatient/ED consults ORTelehealth: NO.Job Responsibilities: Clinical Surgical and Trauma/Orthopedic CallNumber of Physicians: 4 Physicians as of July 2025 with Locum call coverageNumber of Advanced Practice Providers: Nursing Support: 1 nurse/provider 3 cast techs/7 providersAncillary Staff per Provider: 3 Reception/7 providers 2 Surgery Schedulers/7 providersNumber of Exam Rooms per Provider: 2 exam rooms and 3 cast roomsMedical Imaging: YES.Lab: YES.Pharmacy: YES.Average Daily Hospital Practice Census: Mainly consults current avg hospital daily census 160 pts/dayAppointment Length: 10-30 mins depending on new consult recheck post-op or procedureDemographics: Hub Hospital Serve 16 surrounding counties Population 200000EMR: GE Centricity for clinic. EPIC for hospital. Teaching Opportunity: IM and FM residency. PA student rotation.Facility will accept new grads. Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 daysProcedures offered in the practice: Total hip knee and shoulder replacement. Hand wrist knee shoulder hip ankle and foot surgical procedures.Trauma injuries fracture care sports medicine and other disorders.

Schedule Varied, 8a-5p, Mon- Fri with call
