*Estimated weekly pay includes projected hourly wages and weekly meal and lodging per diems for eligible clinicians based on nationally published GSA rates. Actual weekly pay and per diems may differ from the amount shown and are subject to change during an assignment.

Unit Information:

Beds: 54 beds (2 semi private)

Ratios: 1:5-6

Patient Population:

• Stroke
• Spine surgery
• Seizure
• Brain tumor
• Head injury
• Any neuroscience
• Some medical overflow

Requirements:

• Certifications: BLS, NIHSS
• Must have level 1 trauma experience
• Must have previous travel experience (no first time travelers)
• Must have prior experience working on a dedicated neuro unit

Weekend Requirements:

• Every other weekend
• Saturday and Sunday are considered the weekend both shifts

Floating Requirements:

• Float in rotation with rest of staff
• General unit traveler floats to general unit floor and takes full team
• If floated outside of general unit, in case of urgent need, would only do skills competent to do and be assigned with a nurse trained for that particular unit
