The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining store operations, and ensuring a positive experience for all customers. This position requires effective communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to manage a fast paced environment and work collaboratively within a team. Must have a reliable source of transportation. Customer- focused setting that leads to rewarding tip income. Responsibilities Greeting customers and assisting them with pottery painting selections and techniques Providing excellent customer service to customers as they paint (check on them, provide tips, etc) Operate the cash register efficiently, handling cash transactions accurately and securely. Maintaining studio cleanliness and organizing inventory Answering phones and calling customers when necessary Glazing/firing pieces (will be trained) Shifts are both on weekdays and weekends, but all applicants should have some weekday availability and full availability on weekends. We schedule each team member with the # of hours/shifts they request, and we accommodate student's school schedules as well. WORK EXPERIENCE Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required. Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems is advantageous. Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers and team members. Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory tasks are essential.
