DESCRIPTION

Our Financial Services client is hiring a HELP DESK TECHNICIAN, due to a recent departure. The HELP DESK TECHNICIAN should have an understanding of enterprise-level organization, communication, and customer service. The position requires a 2-year or 4-year educational degree relating to Information Technology, paired with Call Center or Customer Service experience.

DUTIES

• Handle volume of 30-50 inbound calls per day, while supporting/troubleshooting hardware inventory.
• Maintain high levels of customer service at all times.
• Provide in-person support for internal staff who, drop-in for support.
• Help with setting up conference rooms, A/V and Video Teleconferencing.
• Use interpersonal skills to collaborate with escalated and tiered teams.
• Take questions from business partners and investigate technical issues, documenting procedures.
• View client data and identify IT assets on the network.
• Organize and review hardware inventories, looking up warranty statuses.
• Review ticket logs and submit security requests for logins to website.
• Work with Business Units to assist advisors with questions and needs.
• Assist with backlog and SLA work.
• Work closely with Advisors maintaining the highest level of customer service.
• Answer calls, emails, and requests as directed.
• Use Technologies to include: SharePoint, ServiceNow, Azure, O365, Active Directory, MFA, Windows, Office 365, VPN, VDI and Citrix Desktop Director.

TRAINING

• In house training on systems and business knowledge will be provided.
• Training turnaround is 1 month.
• Soft skills important here.

This is a Contract position based out of Des Moines, IA.

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Des Moines,IA.
