Position Summary:

The Fulfillment Shipping Clerk will play a crucial role in our operations, ensuring that goods are accurately packaged and shipped in compliance with cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) standards. This role involves preparing and packaging items for shipment with precision, coordinating with carriers, and ensuring timely delivery to customers. As a vital member of our team, you will excel in our fast-paced production environment, where your dedication and motivation will drive manufacturing workflow and help us meet shipping deadlines efficiently.

Essential Functions and Basic Duties:

• Processes and prepares orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in accordance with established procedures.
• Prepares shipping labels and packaging to ensure correct delivery to customers.
• Verifies addresses using Fedex Ship Manager software suite.
• Safely operate a pallet jack to move materials and products.
• Utilizes the best method for product packing and shipping based on standard procedures to include the type of packaging, unique conditions (i.e. refrigeration), etc. to ensure safe and secure delivery.
• Ensures the shipping area is always clean and organized.
• Methodically prepares work area, and supplies before operation, and maintains a clean and organized workspace throughout the shift.
• Completes special projects assigned by supervisor.

Education / Certifications :

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in cGMP principles preferred.

Experience Required:

• Minimum of one year of experience in shipping and logistics, preferably in a cGMP-regulated environment.

Required Knowledge:

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and record-keeping.
• Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office and shipping software.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Skills / Abilities:

• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work occasional overtime or weekends as needed to meet business needs.
