Quality Assurance Supervisor (2nd Shift)

Direct Hire | $65,000–$75,000

Green Meadows Partners has been retained to recruit a Quality Assurance Supervisor for a well-established food manufacturing organization. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced quality professional who enjoys leading teams, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving food safety initiatives in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, technical guidance, and daily support to the Quality Assurance team.
• Supervise, coach, and train QA Technicians while ensuring documentation is accurate and complete.
• Support and maintain Food Safety Management System programs, policies, and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, SQF, GMP, FDA, and applicable food safety regulations.
• Partner with operations to promote food safety, product quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Investigate food safety and quality concerns and assist in developing corrective actions.
• Support internal audits and regulatory compliance activities.
• Serve as the primary contact for sanitation, pest control, and label printing vendors.
• Participate on the company's Recall/Recovery Team.
• Assist with employee training programs related to food safety and quality.
• Review quality data, evaluate samples, and prepare reports to support operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience in a food manufacturing quality environment.
• Strong working knowledge of HACCP, SQF, GMP, FDA regulations, and food safety principles.
• Proven ability to lead, train, and develop production or quality teams.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; SAP experience is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Food Science or a related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Five or more years of relevant food manufacturing quality experience preferred.

Work Environment

• 2nd Shift
• Occasional exposure to refrigerated, subzero, and warm production environments.
