We are dedicated to solving the next generation of warfare with lethal systems that deter kinetic conflict and protect global security.The RoleThe Warehouse Specialist is a highly organized and detail-oriented individual responsible for supporting inventory, coordinating shipping, and receiving operations to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and alignment with business objectives. The ideal candidate should be versatile, able to handle multiple tasks, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. This role involves monitoring inventory transactions, resolving discrepancies, implementing process improvements, and supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience with ERP and WMS systems, and a keen eye for detail to drive accuracy and operational efficiency. This position will involve a balance of inventory management duties as well as active participation in shipping and receiving tasks.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain the integrity of inventory data within the ERP/WMS system, ensuring accuracy and real-time visibility for decision-making.Investigate inventory discrepancies, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to improve accuracy and efficiency.Process inventory adjustments, cycle counts, and reconciliations to ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.Support ERP inventory module functions, including data entry, troubleshooting, and reporting.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance inventory accuracy, warehouse organization, and overall supply chain efficiency.Train end users on inventory processes, ERP system functionalities, and shipping/receiving processes.Manage the daily intake of all deliveries, ensuring accurate documentation and data entry.Communicate with internal customers and suppliers to resolve discrepanciesVerify part traceability and upload necessary documentation.Identify and flag any discrepancies in shipments.Ensure timely and efficient receiving of incoming packages, inspecting shipments for accuracy and quality.Manage both local and international shipments efficiently.Ensure compliance with all shipping regulations, including expertise in customs clearance procedures.Assist with the shipping process, including packing, labeling, and scheduling shipments.Assist in order fulfillment and handle returns as needed.Handle materials, ensuring proper placement in dedicated drop zones.Maintain an organized and clean warehouse environment.Assist in general housekeeping and organization of warehouse space to optimize efficiency.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, warehousing, and production, to streamline workflows and optimize stock levels.Required Qualifications5+ years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or supply chain management.Hands-on experience with ERP/WMS systems (e.g., SAP, Jira, Manufacturo).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve issues effectively.Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage large volumes of data.Effective communication skills to work cross-functionally with different teams and departments.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google and data analysis tools for inventory tracking and reporting.Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced defense startup environment.Preferred QualificationsCertification in inventory management or ERP systems (e.g., CPIM, CSCP, or ERP-specific training).Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies or other process improvement frameworks.Knowledge of inventory best practices, including FIFO, cycle counting.Knowledge of ITAR, FAR, DFARS, and other government contract requirements related to inventory management and warehouse operations.Additional RequirementsAvailable to work extended hours and weekends as neededITAR RequirementsTo conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder), (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
