Speech Language Pathologist - Full Time

Experienced Speech Language Pathologist

We're looking for an experienced SLP to take on a full-time role with one of our area clients. You'll work with patients to improve communication and swallowing, making a real difference in their daily lives.

Minimum Requirements

• Master's or doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association required. Completion of the Clinical Fellowship Year is preferred; candidates who have not completed the CFY will be supervised by a CCC SLP.
• Active Alabama state license required.
• Experience evaluating and treating dysphagia and communication disorders across the lifespan, including neonates through geriatrics.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and experience interacting with physicians and interdisciplinary staff.
• Preferable experience with video fluoroscopic swallow studies and dysphagia therapy.
• Desire to work with individuals who have temporary and/or chronic physical, mental, or developmental disabilities.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• COVID-19 vaccination is preferred; exemptions will be considered.
