Trade Compliance SpecialistThe Trade Compliance Specialist is responsible for daily operational execution of the company's trade compliance programs, policies, and internal audits while ensuring compliance with U.S. import and export regulations. This is a hybrid position based near NW suburbs of Minneapolis, MN.Expectations:Provide daily operational support for trade compliance including HTS/ECCN classification, country of origin, FTA qualification, documentation, and ISF filingsAssist cross functional teams on logistics and compliance synergies to reduce cost & riskConduct internal and external audits and implement corrective actionsResearch and recommend compliance solutions to reduce cost and mitigate regulatory riskServe as the primary contact with Customs BrokersMonitor service provider performance and participate in quarterly supplier business reviewsProvide landed cost details as requestedSupport Anti-Dumping/Countervailing, export licenses, duty drawback, and special government programsEssentials:5+ years of trade compliance experienceHigh school diploma or GED requiredExperience with HTS/ECCN classification, country of origin determination, valuation & FTAWorking knowledge of U.S. Customs & EAR regulationsSolid problem-solving skills with attention to detail and analytic mindsetExcellent communication and presentation skills Trade Compliance Recruiting Solutions
