Job Family:Strategy & Transformation ConsultingTravel Required:Up to 10%Clearance Required:Ability to Obtain Public TrustWhat You Will Do:Guidehouse is seeking a Managing Consultant to join our Defense and Security Segment, where they will lead workforce transformation efforts for the Department of Homeland Security Office of the Chief Human Capital Officer organization. The Managing Consultant will lead a team in the development of strategic human capital and workforce transformation efforts including revised hiring, retention, performance management, and workforce development processes among other functions. The Managing Consultant have the following experience:Leading teams in the development of strategic human capital and workforce transformation efforts and accompanying implementations plansLeading and directing teams in stakeholder analyses, including segmenting and developing stakeholder personas and journey mapsConducting current state assessments, formulating recommendations, and creating robust implementation plansLeading and directing teams in the analysis if human capital related data and gleaning critical insightsDeveloping metrics for evaluating the effectiveness of strategic human capital transformation effortsPreparing for and leading internal and external stakeholder discussions, client meetings, and leadership briefingsProviding direction and technical assistance to a team of at least 5 in the areas of problem definition, analysis, requirements development, and implementation for complex solutionsManaging multiple concurrent assignments while directing the work of a team and ensuring technical accuracy, adherence to standards, and timely delivery of all productsPreparing a wide range of briefing materials and concise summaries of assessments, evaluations, and plans communicate program status and progress to senior leadersWhat You Will Need:Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY are preferred.Bachelor’s degreeSEVEN (7) or more years of experience leading strategic human capital transformation and implementation solutions and directing the work of a team, with FIVE (5) or more years of management consulting experience in human capitalWhat Would Be Nice To Have:Proficiency in Microsoft Suite applicationsExperience consulting for the DHSExcellent communication skills across all levels of business, both written and verbalAbility to adapt quickly and develop successful professional relationshipsExperience working in DHSThe annual salary range for this position is $113,000.00-$188,000.00.
