Field Claims Representative

Job Overview We seek a motivated and experienced field claims professional to manage insurance claims in the field under general supervision. The role spans the lifecycle of a claim—from investigation through resolution—and provides service to agents, insureds, and other stakeholders, ensuring accurate and timely outcomes. Responsibilities Investigate and assemble facts; determine policy coverage and estimate loss amounts. Analyze legal liability and handle multi‑line property and casualty claims in an assigned territory with a property‑claims emphasis. Study insurance policies, endorsements, and forms to become familiar with coverage details. Work toward claim resolution, including attending arbitrations, mediations, depositions, or trials as needed. Ensure claims payments are issued in a timely and accurate manner. Conduct investigations by phone, mail, and on‑site visits. Live within one of the servicing counties: Cleburne, VanBuren, Searcy, Stone, Baxter, Marion, or Boone. Desired Skills & Experience Bachelor’s degree or direct equivalent experience in property and casualty claims. Minimum of 3 years of experience handling multi‑line property and casualty claims, with a property‑claims focus. Field claims handling experience preferred but not required. Knowledge of Xactimate software preferred but not required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to resolve complex issues, organize and interpret data, and manage multiple assignments. Capability to interact effectively with a diverse group of individuals. Strong mathematical skills—proficiency in geometry (area and volume) and financial calculations (unit costs, totals, and financial document interpretation). Valid driver’s license, ability to drive an automobile, and maintenance of a driving record consistent with company underwriting guidelines.
