This opportunity is designed for an established agent who has already built a foundation in the industry and is ready to elevate their career through direct mentorship, exposure to high-level transactions, and collaboration with one of San Diego County's top-performing real estate professionals. Led by Marilyn Comiskey, The Comiskey Group specializes in luxury residential sales, off‑market opportunities, developer representation, and strategic marketing throughout San Diego's most desirable coastal and urban neighborhoods. Marilyn has achieved more than $430 million in career sales volume, is ranked among the top real estate professionals in San Diego County, and is recognized among the top 0.1% of agents nationwide. This opportunity is best suited for agents who are eager to build a long‑term career in luxury real estate and understand that sustained success is achieved through initiative, consistency, relationship‑building, and personal accountability. This role is intended for an entrepreneurial real estate professional who views success as a direct result of work ethic, attention to detail, resilience, and self‑generated business development. Candidates seeking a traditional salaried position, formal training program, or a role primarily dependent upon company‑provided leads are unlikely to be a fit for this opportunity. Successful candidates must possess an entrepreneurial mindset and a demonstrated ability to self‑generate business opportunities. This role is best suited for agents who are motivated to build their own business while contributing to the growth and success of The Comiskey Group. This role does not include a formal training program. Candidates should already possess foundational real estate knowledge and be prepared to learn through direct mentorship, observation, real‑world transaction experience, and personal initiative. Responsibilities Represent buyers and sellers with the highest level of professionalism, discretion, and client service Prospect for new business and consistently cultivate relationships to generate opportunities and grow personal production Conduct buyer consultations, listing appointments, property showings, open houses, broker previews, and client meetings Prepare and review contracts, disclosures, purchase agreements, and transaction‑related documentation with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail Maintain organized records, communications, calendars, and transaction files Assist with listing preparation, property launches, marketing initiatives, and community networking events Collaborate closely with team leadership to ensure a seamless and elevated client experience Maintain expert knowledge of local market conditions, inventory, pricing strategies, and emerging opportunities Assist with all aspects of the business as needed, including open house preparation, installation and removal of signage, moving staging items, coordinating vendors, property preparation, and other operational responsibilities Contribute positively to the team's culture through professionalism, accountability, collaboration, and a solution‑oriented mindset Required Qualifications Active California Real Estate License in good standing Minimum 1.5 years of experience as a licensed California real estate agent Bachelor's degree from an accredited four‑year college or university required Must currently reside in San Diego County and possess strong familiarity with San Diego neighborhoods, market trends, and local communities Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle required Highly detail‑oriented with exceptional organizational skills and follow‑through Positive, can‑do attitude and willingness to contribute wherever needed Strong team‑player mentality with the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast‑paced environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills Professional appearance and polished interpersonal skills appropriate for luxury clientele Demonstrated ability to self‑generate business and proactively create opportunities Strong understanding of California real estate contracts, disclosures, and transaction procedures Comfortable lifting, transporting, and setting up open house signage, staging items, marketing materials, and other property‑related equipment Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy, professionalism, and responsiveness Weekend and evening availability as required by client schedules Preferred Qualifications Experience working with luxury properties or high‑net‑worth clientele Strong negotiation and client relationship management skills Proven track record of successful buyer or seller representation Familiarity with Compass systems and technology platforms About Marilyn Comiskey Marilyn Comiskey is a Principal with Compass La Jolla and one of San Diego's top‑performing real estate professionals.
