LabCorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Arlington, TX (76010) Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm (additional hours/ rotating Saturdays required as needed) Job Responsibilities: * Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups * Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc. * Perform Urinalysis dips and pregnancy kit tests * Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner * Process billing information and collect payments when required * Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis * Maintain patient and specimen information logs * Provide superior customer service to all patients * Administrative and clerical duties as necessary * Travel to additional sites when needed Minimum Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent Preferred Qualifications: * 2 or more years' phlebotomy experience working in a clinical / hospital environment * 1 or more years' experience assisting all patient groups (pediatric - geriatric) * Current or prior LabCorp experience Additional Job Standards: * In lieu of work experience, a phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency * Able to pass a standardized color blindness test * Flexibility to work overtime as needed * Able to work in a fast paced / high volume work environment * Be 21 years of age or older * Have a valid driver's license and clean driving record * Will provide coverage to client / PSC environments when needed * Exceptional customer service * Strong communication skills; both written and verbal * Ability to work independently or in a team environment * Comfortable working under minimal supervision This role will work in our client's office setting to provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections and be the face of the company.
