Registered Nurse (RN) - NICU

Neonatal ICU Travel RN

Shift: 12-hour nights, 18:45–07:15 (36 hours)

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to neonates, including those who are premature or have surgical needs.
• Monitor and assess patients in the NICU, documenting their condition and response to treatment.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring safety and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to create and implement patient care plans.
• Provide education and support to families of neonates in the unit.

Compliance / Notes

• COVID-19 vaccine not required; flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions allowed)
• RTO: Up to 7 days auto-approved (no holidays); all RTO must be pre-approved. Excessive RTO can lead to cancel/DNR.
• Holiday Requirement: Must work 2 of 3 major holidays.
• Pre-start: Complete lab/testing within 48 hours of signing; complete necessary pre-start modules.
• Travel pairs allowed (must be on different units and disclosed).
