Role Description The Operations Manager is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Prince George, VA, responsible for overseeing daily operational activities and ensuring efficient, safe, and reliable processes. This position coordinates production schedules, resource allocation, and workflow to meet customer requirements and quality standards. The Operations Manager collaborates with engineering, manufacturing, and field service teams to support fluid‑sealing projects, resolve operational issues, and implement process improvements. The role includes monitoring performance metrics, managing budgets, and maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory guidelines. The Operations Manager also supports staff development through coaching, training, and clear communication of objectives, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and customer focus. Qualifications Experience in operations management within manufacturing, engineering, or industrial environments, with strong skills in process improvement and workflow optimization. Proficiency in production planning, resource management, and performance measurement, including use of basic operational or ERP tools and data analysis. Knowledge of industrial safety standards and regulatory compliance, with the ability to implement and monitor safe work practices. Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills, including the ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams and guide staff development. Ability to analyze operational issues, develop practical solutions, and manage change initiatives to improve efficiency and reliability. Relevant education such as a bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations management, business, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered. Background in fluid‑sealing, industrial equipment, or related technical fields is highly beneficial.
