Certified Surg Tech - Travel Job

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to expertly assist physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients by preparing the operating room, sterilizing equipment, and providing support to the surgical team.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
• BLS Certification
• 2 years' experience as a certified OR tech / Surg Tech in a surgical environment
• For CVOR positions, 2 years' experience as a certified CVOR technologist in a cardiac surgical environment
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) via NBSTSA Certificate
• Experience with trauma, ortho, and general cases

Assignment Details:

• 8-hour shifts.
• Shift hours: 6:45am-3:15pm.
• Call required.
• Weekend call required every 4th weekend.
• Weekday call is required 4-8 times per 4-week schedule.
• Call response time is 30 minutes.
• First to float.
• Charting system: Cerner Surginet.
• 12 OR suites for general OR, 1 CVOR suite, and 1 hybrid room.
• Average of 14 cases per day.
• Common case types include ortho, total joints, gyn, urology, trauma, ENT, general, plastics, vascular, neuro, and robotics using Da Vinci.
