IT Support Technician - Olympia

Salary: $50,412 - 66,072 per year Requirements:

• We require at least two years of experience in information technology activities such as testing, installing, maintaining, supporting, or preventing hardware and software system failures across client applications, hardware and software products, mainframe systems, network infrastructure, or telecommunications tools and equipment.
• We require two years of experience creating, maintaining, or working with documentation and records management.
• We require two years of experience supporting customers in a fast-paced environment, including at least six months of communication by phone, email, or remote methods.
• We require one year of experience supporting business or specialty applications with role-based security or access controls.
• We require one year of experience providing IT end-user support.
• We require the ability to understand and apply our values of respect, trust, diversity, equity, and inclusion in day-to-day decisions and behaviors.

• We prefer six months of experience supporting enterprise identity and access management processes, including user provisioning, access reviews, authentication methods, or security access administration.
• We prefer current technical certification in information technology, desktop support, customer support, identity and access management, or a closely related area.
• We prefer additional education in IT, computer science, information systems, or a related field.

• We provide technical support to DRIVES/PRFT users, both internally and externally.
• We support customer understanding of our Information Services policies and procedures.
• We administer and maintain DRIVES/PRFT user accounts.
• We manage system access and troubleshoot access-related issues.
• We ensure user permissions align with established security policies and procedures.
• We complete approved security change requests, security tickets, and first-tier SQRs.
• We coordinate with access coordinators and document progress in our ticketing system.
• We deliver quality customer service to staff and contractors through phone, email, and other communication channels.
• We follow DRIVES production support processes and escalate requests when appropriate.
• We maintain DRIVES security and help documentation throughout its lifecycle in line with team standards.
• We train team members, business users, and internal customers on submitting and processing requests.
