Amotec is currently recruiting for multiple CNC Mill and Lathe Operators in the Mentor, Ohio area. Our client is a leader in the defense manufacturing area. These positions allow for additional training and advancement.

Responsibilities:

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints/job orders including an understanding of dimensions, tolerances, and number of parts to be machined
• Able to work to precise tolerances
• Verify conformance of sample parts to specifications, using preset gauges, micrometers and dial indicators. Use Statistical Process Control (SPC) techniques
• Adjust machine controls and settings to keep dimensions within specified tolerances
• Instruct and assist other workers as necessary
• Such other machining and operating duties as requested

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• CNC Certification preferred
• 1 or more years’ experience

Additional Information:

• All Shifts:1st, 2nd, and 3rd
• OT Required as needed
• $17-20/hr depending on experience
