Amotec is currently recruiting for multiple CNC Mill and Lathe Operators in the Mentor, Ohio area. Our client is a leader in the defense manufacturing area. These positions allow for additional training and advancement.
Responsibilities:- Ability to read and interpret blueprints/job orders including an understanding of dimensions, tolerances, and number of parts to be machined
- Able to work to precise tolerances
- Verify conformance of sample parts to specifications, using preset gauges, micrometers and dial indicators. Use Statistical Process Control (SPC) techniques
- Adjust machine controls and settings to keep dimensions within specified tolerances
- Instruct and assist other workers as necessary
- Such other machining and operating duties as requested
- High School Diploma or GED
- CNC Certification preferred
- 1 or more years’ experience
- All Shifts:1st, 2nd, and 3rd
- OT Required as needed
- $17-20/hr depending on experience
