Position Title: Assistant Manager

A well-established multifamily property management company is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the day-to-day operations of a 231-unit residential community in Woodland Hills, California. Working closely with the General Manager and on-site team, this position will play an active role in resident relations, move-ins and move-outs, unit turns, property walks, notices, and leasing support while helping ensure operations run smoothly across multiple buildings.

The ideal candidate has at least three years of residential multifamily property management experience, strong Yardi proficiency, and a working knowledge of Fair Housing requirements. They are polished, proactive, and personable, communicate confidently with residents and colleagues, and know how to take ownership without requiring constant direction.

Salary Range : $55,994 - $62,400 / Year, DOE


Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager with daily operations across a 231-unit multifamily residential community
• Serve as a professional point of contact for residents, addressing questions and supporting positive resident relations
• Coordinate and oversee resident move-ins and move-outs, ensuring required steps and documentation are completed
• Prepare and post resident notices accurately and in accordance with established procedures
• Monitor unit turns to ensure apartments are completed properly and within expected timelines
• Conduct apartment and property walks with prospective residents and support leasing activities as needed
• Work effectively across multiple buildings while maintaining organization, responsiveness, and consistent service

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in residential multifamily property management
• Proficiency with Yardi property management software
• Basic understanding of Fair Housing regulations and residential property management practices
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a polished, professional approach
• Proactive, personable, and self-directed work style with the ability to manage competing priorities
• Valid driver's license, reliable personal vehicle, and proof of automobile insurance
• Ability to work onsite Monday through Friday with occasional Saturday coverage for leasing needs
