Ascend Architecture has a position available for a Job Captain with 3-8 years of progressive work experience. Position Title: Project Architect Job Captain is in charge of distinct portions of the project under periodic supervision and mentorship of the project leadership. This opening represents an excellent opportunity to join a highly creative, collaborative team while working on inspiring architectural projects. Responsibilities and Duties Production and coordination of drawing sets during all phases of design, under the direction of the Project Architect Oversee select portions of the project. Take initiative and show good judgment Collaborate at team level, communicating effectively on design solutions and documentation Apply firm standards and conduct reviews of own work Manage time and workload to meet project deadlines with periodic input from project leaders. Qualifications Proven experience as a team member on suitable projects in terms of type and size Experience being in charge of distinct portions of projects Strong organization and communication skills. Be a great team player Commitment to high-quality work and attention to detail Proficiency in Revit, Bluebeam required, Sketchup and/or Rhino preferred A well-developed design sense and good graphical skills Understanding of building materials, details and construction techniques Residing within the Bay Area preferred Professional degree in Architecture / LEED accreditation preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr Ascend Architecture
