Job Title

Vascular Sonographer – Travel Contract (Days)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a high volume of diagnostic ultrasound exams across general, OB/GYN, and vascular patient populations, with an average of approximately 15 scans per day
• Conduct abdominal, small parts, and pelvic imaging including transabdominal and transvaginal gynecologic exams
• Perform obstetric imaging for dating, measurements, biophysical profiles (BPPs), and fetal anatomy scans across the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimesters (non-high-risk)
• Execute vascular studies including upper and lower venous doppler, lower arterial doppler, ABIs, aorta duplex, carotid arterial doppler, and hepatic and renal doppler imaging
• Document and manage imaging findings using EPIC EMR
• Availability to work 1–2 winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and/or New Year's) unless the unit is closed during that period

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 24 months of experience in an Ultrasound Technologist and/or Vascular Sonographer capacity
• Experience in general/abdominal sonography required
• Experience in non-high-risk OB/GYN imaging required
• Experience in vascular sonography required
• ARDMS (AB) certification required
• BLS certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross) required
• Active and valid EPIC EMR experience required
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible, based on Driver's License address

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ARDMS (RVT) certification highly preferred
• ARDMS (OB/GYN) certification highly preferred
• Proficiency in thyroid, testicle/scrotum, DVT/venous evaluation of both arms and legs, aortas, carotids, and limited 2nd/3rd trimester OB (BPP, measurements, and fluid checks)
• Experience assisting with fine needle aspirations, paracentesis, and thoracentesis procedures
