About the Position

Job Title: Sonographer Profession: Sonographer Specialty: Vascular Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum of 24 months of experience in Sonography required. Experience in general/abdomen imaging is required. Experience in non-high-risk OB/GYN is required. Experience in vascular imaging is required. Experience with EPIC EMR is required. ARDMS certification in Abdomen is required. ARDMS certification in RVT is highly preferred. ARDMS certification in OB/GYN is highly preferred. License: Valid Driver's License required. Certifications: BLS certification required. ARDMS certification required. Must-Have: Proficiency in abdomen/RUQ with liver vessel evaluation. Experience with kidneys, bladder, and pelvis (transabdominal and transvaginal). Experience with 1st trimester OB (transabdominal and transvaginal). Experience with testicle/scrotum evaluation. Experience with DVT/venous evaluation of both arms and legs. Experience with ABIs and thyroid assessments. Experience with aortas and carotids. Experience with limited 2nd/3rd trimester OBs (BPP, measurements, and fluid checks). Description: Quickly interviewing viable candidates via phone call or text. Local radius rule applies; must be 50 miles from the facility based on driver's license. Employee separation policy is in effect; past employees cannot work travel assignments in another market within 12 months. Contractors are required to work 1-2 of the 3 upcoming winter holidays unless the unit is closed. The average number of scans per day is 15. Types of patients include general, OB/GYN, and vascular. Experience assisting with fine needle aspirations, paracentesis, and thoracentesis procedures is preferred but not required. Work history must demonstrate 24 months of current Sonographer or vascular experience. A skills checklist must be specific to the discipline listed on the job. Professional references should be from a charge/supervisor/nurse manager/director/CNO/COO within the last 24 months.
