Benefits Support Analyst

This role focuses on supporting associates and their families with health and welfare benefits inquiries, resolving complex issues, and partnering with vendors to ensure accurate benefits administration.

Location: Remote
Type: Full-Time | Contract (through 12/31/2026)
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM CST
Pay: Up to $25/hr
Start Date: ASAP (target 4/27/2026)

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary point of contact for health and welfare benefits inquiries (medical, dental, vision, HSA, life, disability, wellness programs).
• Respond to high-volume emails and outbound calls from employees and their families.
• Support associates with enrollment, plan details, eligibility, and claims-related issues.
• Act as a liaison between associates, internal teams, and external benefits vendors.
• Perform issue resolution and reconciliation, identifying and resolving discrepancies before escalation.
• Navigate multiple internal systems to research, document, and resolve cases accurately.
• Educate employees on benefits programs and provide clear, empathetic communication.
• Support ongoing HCM system migration efforts, adapting to new processes and tools.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with internal processes and standards.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in HR, benefits, or high-volume customer service/support role required.
• Experience handling phone and/or email-based support in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and web-based systems.
• Experience with HCM systems (Oracle, PeopleSoft, or similar) preferred.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow or case management/ticketing systems preferred.
• Benefits knowledge (health & welfare plans) is a plus but not required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex topics clearly.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple inquiries simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, changing environment (system migration in progress).
