Metal Packer(Santa Fe Springs) $19.00 per hour Monday - Friday 2:00pm - 10:30 pm (Must be open to train 5am-1:30pm) A growing metal distribution company is seeking a dependable Metal Packer to join its Flat Roll Department. This is a long-term opportunity offering hands‑on work in an industrial environment. Initial training will be provided to ensure familiarity with job duties, safety procedures, and equipment operation. Metal Packer – Flat Roll Department Responsibilities: Package flat rolled metal sheets and plates according to company standards Stack supplies and materials safely and efficiently Pack flat rolled metal coils using banding/strapping equipment Use hand tools as required for packaging and securing materials Perform housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and organized work area Assist with general shop and warehouse tasks as assigned Occasionally operate a sit-down forklift to move materials and product Maintain a safe work environment and follow all company safety procedures Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times Metal Packer – Flat Roll Department Requirements: Previous experience in metal distribution, manufacturing, or warehouse setting preferred Ability to lift and handle heavy materials on a regular basis Ability to stand, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift Steel-toe boots required Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn Benefits of Working with Express: Weekly pay and immediate benefits!
