What You’ll Do As a Shift Leader , you’ll play a key role in leading daily store operations while delivering an exceptional customer experience: Provide friendly, fast, and accurate customer service Lead, coach, and support team members during shifts Operate POS system / cash register (cash, credit cards, EBT, prepaid cards, lottery, checks) Follow all cash handling procedures and company policies Ensure compliance with alcohol, tobacco, lottery, fuel, and food safety regulations Support deli operations and assist with food preparation as needed Maintain store standards including stocking, merchandising, cleanliness, and organization Promote a safe, secure, and organized work environment Assist with loss prevention, safety, and security procedures Work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and closing shifts Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred Previous experience in retail, customer service, food service, or convenience store operations Leadership or supervisory experience preferred Strong communication, teamwork, and problem‑solving skills Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment Basic math and computer/POS skills Reliable attendance and flexible availability Training & Certifications TankSmart Certification (Level C) – training provided Why Join Freshies?
