Job Summary
Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse (RN) Tracy, CA. This role supports postoperative patient care in a post anesthesia setting by monitoring clinical status and addressing physical, psychosocial, and psychological needs. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift for 10 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications:
  • Current California Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications must be uploaded with valid expiration dates
  • Electronic Medical Record (EPIC) experience
  • Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience in critical care or post anesthesia care unit (PACU) in an acute care setting of similar size and complexity to the facility
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with airway management
  • Experience with central lines and post-procedure care in a critical care/PACU environment
  • Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of the nursing process in addressing physical, psychosocial, and psychological needs of patients
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Trauma level experience
  • Teaching hospital experience
  • Experience with EPIC Cerner documentation
• Additional Information:
  • Compliance onboarding requirements include completing labs within 35 days of contract signing
  • Work history verification covering 7 years from the start date may be required
  • All compliance documents must be submitted 10 days prior to start
  • Modules are completed during orientation, are recorded through e-learning, and average 15 hours depending on specialty
  • Holidays listed in the posting begin at 7:00 PM the night before the holiday and end at 7:00 AM the day after the holiday, with only 1 holiday per contract request allowed
