Job Duties

• Develop Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess individual patient needs and create therapy strategies designed to help them meet their personal goals
• Implement Therapeutic Practices: Employ evidence-based methods to boost patients' motor functions, cognitive abilities, and essential daily activities
• Coordinate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work in close collaboration with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive care that addresses all aspects of patient well-being
• Educate Patients and Caregivers: Equip patients and their families with therapy knowledge and techniques to sustain progress at home
• Track and Adjust Treatment Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and adapt therapy methods as needed to keep patients on course for success

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution
• Continuing education opportunities and post-graduate certifications encouraged

Certifications Required

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification mandatory
