Inpatient Hematology Lead Advanced Practice Provider Rush University Medical Center, Chicago, IL Overview Rush invites applications for the position of Lead Inpatient Hematology Advanced Practice Provider with RUSH MD Anderson Cancer Center at Rush University Medical Center. Duties & Responsibilities Inpatient service Rotating four‑day, 10‑hour shift schedule Supervision of four direct reports to staff the inpatient Hematology Unit seven days a week alongside a Hematology Hospitalist and a Hematologist Position includes a $20,000 sign‑on bonus! Preferred Qualifications Applicants with 3+ years of previous Advanced Practice Provider experience in Hematology, or other cancer related specialties are required. Relevant RN experience may be considered. APRN candidates will require Acute Care Certification if doing Inpatient work. Position Requirements Nurse Practitioner Current licensure from the State of Illinois as a Registered Professional Nurse and Advanced Practice Nurse or eligible to obtain a licensure through the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) application process Master of Science in Nursing or Doctorate of Nursing practice with clinical specialty appropriate to position Current certification by American Nurse Credentialing Center (ANCC) or American Academy of Nurse Practitioner (AANP) Physician Assistant Current licensure from the State of Illinois as a Physician Assistant/Associate or eligible to obtain a licensure through the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) application process Successful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant/Associate Program Current certification from National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants Compensation & Benefits Pay Range: $145,974 – $184,000 Rush offers competitive total compensation that includes base pay, benefits, and other incentive programs.
