Inpatient Hematology - Advanced Practice Provider

Position Overview Rush University System for Health invites applications for the position of Inpatient Hematology Advanced Practice Provider at RUSH MD Anderson Cancer Center. Department/Division Specifications The inpatient hematology unit consists of four Advanced Practice Providers, one Hematologist and one Hematology Hospitalist. Duties & Responsibilities Rotating four-day, 10‑hour shift schedule Cover the unit seven days per week (days only) Report to the Lead Inpatient Hematology APP Work 100% inpatient focus Promote collaboration between multiple disciplines to ensure cost‑effective and quality patient care Preferred Qualifications Previous Advanced Practice Provider experience in a cancer‑related specialty (relevant RN experience may be considered) APRN candidates require Acute Care Certification Position Requirements – Nurse Practitioner Current licensure from the State of Illinois as a Registered Professional Nurse and Advanced Practice Nurse, or eligibility to obtain licensure through the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) Master of Science in Nursing or Doctorate of Nursing Practice with a clinical specialty appropriate to the position Current certification by the American Nurse Credentialing Center (ANCC) or American Academy of Nurse Practitioner (AANP) CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications Position Requirements – Physician Assistant Current licensure from the State of Illinois as a Physician Assistant/Associate, or eligibility to obtain licensure through the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) Successful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant/Associate Program Current certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications Compensation Pay Range: $124,610 – $175,000.
