General Superintendent

GENERAL SUPERINTENDENT The Noel Company, Inc. Position Overview The General Superintendent is responsible for the overall coordination and direction of Project Superintendents, field staff, materials, and equipment to ensure the safe, timely, profitable, and quality-oriented completion of Noel Company concrete projects. Experience & Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum 6 years of experience in a similar position. Experience in commercial concrete construction. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple projects, personnel, equipment, and resources. Knowledge of project scheduling, productivity, safety, quality, and profitability. Strong computer skills, including file management, word processing, spreadsheets, data entry, and project reporting. Professional, ethical, and competent approach to working with employees, customers, subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers. Key Responsibilities Lead, mentor, develop, and help evaluate Project Superintendents and field personnel. Coordinate manpower, equipment, tools, and resources across projects. Monitor project progress, productivity, safety, quality, and profitability. Conduct regular project site visits and provide support to Project Superintendents. Participate in project handoffs, pre-construction meetings, and project progress meetings. Work closely with Project Managers, Safety, Estimating, and field leadership. Identify cost-effective construction methods and opportunities to improve project performance. Maintain strong working relationships with General Contractors, Owners, Architects, Engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers. Perform other related duties as assigned.
