Senior Project Engineer

Job DescriptionPerformance Contracting is seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer for its PCI Sacramento, California 556 operations based in North Highlands, CA. Job responsibilities include:Perform labor control on assigned projects, including setup and maintenancePrepare RFI’s and submittalsQuantitative takeoffs to verify estimates, order materials, and price change ordersCreate and implement job schedules and coordinate with field supervisors and foremenCreate and manage punch lists and job closeout documentationSupport the Quality Control measures outlined in the QA/QC programAssist in other duties as assignedSalary range: $$92,900-$124,000 annual salary plus non-guaranteed annualized bonus program. This position is safety-sensitive.Basic RequirementsMust have at least 4-7 years’ experience managing construction projectsProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products (e.g., Excel, Word, etc.)Possess a clear understanding of how to read and interpret specifications and drawingsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work effectively in a team environmentAbility to learn new skills by engaging in the technical job functions and applying new skills as they’re learnedStrong customer service skills and relationship-building abilitiesAbility to prioritize and multitask while handling multiple projects concurrently Motivated self-starter with strong work ethic and a willingness to take initiativeWorks well under pressure and deadlinesPossess critical-thinking and problem-solving skillsPreferred RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Science, or related disciplineExperience with Construction Technology, ATC, Acoustical, Quick Bid, OST preferredExperience managing specialty scopes of constructionOSHA certificationLocal to Sacramento Metro AreaWilling to travel or relocate based on project needs This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.JobFamilyProject ManagementJobFunctionProject ManagementPayTypeSalary
