Manufacturing Laborer

Laborer PositionValtir is hiring full time laborers to support our Orangeburg, SC facility by performing labor intensive duties in the manufacturing and processing of highway safety products. As a laborer, you will be responsible for moving and lifting steel ranging from 5lbs to 75lbs continuously throughout the shift. Laborers will be working in hot, cold, dirty and noisy environments while wearing all required PPE.Fulltime1st Shift: Monday-Friday 5:00 AM-1:30PMPay: $19.00Job duties include, but are not limited to:Load/unload/move steel ranging from 5lbs – 75lbs by hand continuously throughout shiftMaintain efficient production in the departmentMaintain a clean work environment through 5S activitiesCheck tools and equipment in observance of safety regulationsOther duties as assignedWorking environment:Conditions can be hot, cold, dirty, and noisy.The job is within a fast paced, heavy industrial environment and you may be required to work within various areas of the plant.Safety is our highest priority and safety procedures / guidelines must be adhered to at all times. This includes safety wear such as hearing and eye protection, protective clothing and steel-toed shoes.Attendance and showing up to work on time are important to the success of the plant.
