Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department Department: 36102 Atrium Health Union West - Emergency Department Status: Full time Benefits Eligible: Yes Hours Per Week: 36 Schedule Details/Additional Information: Full-Time Nights (7p-7a) Pay Range: $38.20 - $57.30 Where You Will Work Atrium Health Union West Emergency Department is a facility-based ED featuring 10 beds, including a dedicated trauma bay, and provides care in a modern, patient-centered environment. We’re Looking For Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing Candidates must have at least 6 months of RN experience; this position is not for new graduates Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association ACLS required within 6 months of hire 1 year of Critical Care (ED, ICU) experience required What You’ll Do As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skill communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum. About This Location Atrium Health Union West is a hospital, emergency department and specialty care center all wrapped into one location – with extra amenities to help restore your body and mind. Atrium Health Union West has 40 acute care licensed beds, 3 operating rooms, 8 bed L&D, 4 bed ICU, 36 bed med/surg, and imaging services including MRI, CT scan, X-ray, ultrasound, and more, plus laboratory and pharmacy services.
