Estimator

Our client, a leading construction organization based in Phoenix, Arizona, is seeking a Estimator to join their team. As a Estimator, you will be part of the Pre-Construction and Business Development departments supporting project planning and bidding processes. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Estimator

Location: Phoenix, Arizona

Pay Range: $110k - $150k, depending on level of experience

What's the Job?

• Support and collaborate with pre-construction and business development teams in reviewing project plans, requirements, and specifications.
• Perform quantity take-offs, pricing, and bidding for construction projects while maintaining high standards of accuracy and quality.
• Create conceptual and detailed budgets independently, ensuring alignment with project goals without relying on subcontractors.
• Engage with architects, owners, and operations teams to refine budgets throughout the design process and present budgets professionally to clients.
• Manage multiple bids simultaneously, meet tight deadlines, and handle numerous projects with precision and efficiency.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
• Comprehensive understanding of construction costs and principles.
• Experience with OnScreen Take-off, Excel macros, and estimating software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM tools.
• Strong independent work ethic with excellent communication skills and the ability to read audiences effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project) and ability to multitask under pressure.
