Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Active California Physical Therapist license
• Previous experience in pediatric, school-based, or healthcare physical therapy preferred
• Understanding of IEP goals, documentation, and progress tracking
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators, staff, and families
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and encouraging space for students

Responsibilities:

• Assess students’ physical therapy needs and develop individualized treatment plans
• Deliver therapy sessions that promote motor skills, mobility, and functional independence
• Participate in IEP meetings and advocate for students’ physical development goals
• Document session notes, progress, and ensure compliance with school and state guidelines
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to support classroom modifications and student inclusion
• Educate families and caregivers on at-home support strategies

Position Details:

• Part-time (2 days per week, 8-hour shifts)
• Contract runs from August 12th through June 4th
