Manufacturing Engineer - Level 2

You will be the Manufacturing Engineer - Level 2 for the Manufacturing Engineering team which is responsible for improving sub‑assembly build processes and driving cost‑effective, high‑quality production for F‑35 components. What You Will Be Doing Support production operations by refining sub‑assembly processes, eliminating repetitive defects, and reducing unnecessary costs. Develop and modify manufacturing plans, interpreting engineering blueprints to support both production and prototype articles. Investigate and resolve non‑conformances through root‑cause analysis and corrective‑action implementation. Optimize machining strategies for CNC mills and lathes to produce precision components efficiently. Collaborate with quality, production, tooling, and engineering teams to implement innovative solutions and boost overall efficiency. Basic Qualifications Experience with F-16 Manufacturing / Assembly/ Production processes. Experience with gauge‑controlled tooling concepts. Experience reading and interpreting drawing requirements. Experience supporting International Co‑Production. Desired Skills Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing and/or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited college. Manufacturing Engineering experience with fabrication and assembly in a production environment. Demonstrated problem‑solving skills to drive issues to closure, develop workaround plans, and/or corrective action plans. Excellent verbal/written communications skills. Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks. Ability to work in a collaborative and team‑based environment or independently to solve problems in a timely manner. Microsoft Office suite experience with Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Security Clearance Statement This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Clearance Level: Secret.
