About the job:

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will design, develop, enhance, and support modern enterprise applications using Microsoft technologies, cloud platforms, DevOps practices, and emerging AI solutions. This role will work across the full software development lifecycle, collaborating with business and technical stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing applications. The ideal candidate will have strong full-stack development experience, cloud expertise in Azure and AWS, CI/CD and automation knowledge, and a passion for leveraging AI technologies to drive innovation and business value.

What you will bring:

Technical Skills

• Strong experience with C#, .NET 8/9/10, ASP.NET Core, MVC, and Web API development.
• Full-stack development experience using Angular, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL Server, and Entity Framework.
• Knowledge of software design patterns, object-oriented programming, and SOLID principles.
• Experience with cloud platforms including Microsoft Azure and AWS.

Cloud & Infrastructure Experience

Experience developing cloud-native applications and services using:

• Azure Functions
• Azure Logic Apps
• Azure Storage
• Cosmos DB
• Azure SQL
• Service Bus
• Event Grid
• Redis Cache
• AWS Lambda
• Amazon S3
• DynamoDB

DevOps & CI/CD Expertise

• Experience with Git, GitHub, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes, and YAML pipelines.
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code solutions such as Azure Bicep and ARM Templates.

AI & Modern Technology Experience

• Experience integrating Generative AI and AI-enabled solutions.
• Knowledge of Azure AI Studio (Azure AI Foundry), Copilot, Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and Agentic AI concepts.

Monitoring & Data Technologies

Experience with:

• Application Insights

• What You Will Do:

Application Development

• Develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications using C#, .NET 8/9/10, ASP.NET Core, MVC, and Web APIs.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Implement new features, enhancements, and defect resolutions.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and solution delivery activities.

Full-Stack Development

• Build and maintain scalable full-stack applications using Angular, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL Server, and Entity Framework.
• Apply coding standards, design patterns, and SOLID principles.
• Participate in peer code reviews and promote development best practices.

Cloud Development & Support

• Design, develop, and support cloud-based applications on Microsoft Azure and AWS.
• Integrate cloud services and serverless technologies to support enterprise solutions.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot production issues, and implement scalability improvements.

DevOps & Automation

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Git, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes, and YAML pipelines.
• Support application deployments and release management activities.
• Assist with infrastructure provisioning using Azure Bicep and ARM templates.

AI & Innovation

• Develop and integrate AI-enabled solutions using Azure AI Studio, Copilot, LLMs, RAG, and Agentic AI technologies.
• Identify opportunities to automate business processes and enhance application capabilities through AI.

Quality & Documentation

• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Develop unit tests and assist with QA and user acceptance testing activities.
• Document code changes, technical designs, and support procedures.
• Participate in knowledge-sharing initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.

Monitoring & Support

• Utilize monitoring and observability tools to maintain application health and performance.
• Support security, operational, and production activities across Azure and AWS environments.
• Assist with troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and ongoing application support.

Education:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.

Capgemini discloses salary range information in compliance with state and local pay transparency obligations. At Capgemini, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. The base salary range for the tagged location is $110,000 - 125,000.

This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.
