The Associate, Pursuits is a mid‑level marketing coordinator who leads the development of responses to RFQ/RFPs, interview presentations, and award submissions. The associate is also the point of contact for assigned business units and works from our Falls Church, Virginia, or Atlanta, Georgia office. Reporting Structure The position reports to a pursuits manager. Responsibilities Lead the strategy, coordination, writing, editing, layout, and production of qualification packages and proposals. Collaborate with project teams to develop interview presentation strategy and lead the development of interview materials, including presentations, interview books, and handouts. Direct presentation rehearsals and ensure the presentation team is well‑prepared. Act as point of contact for assigned business units, guiding them in marketing support needs and maintaining project and team knowledge in CRM and other systems. Develop and maintain business‑unit specific marketing content, including narratives and photography for proposals, brochures, collateral, company website, and social media. Update and maintain marketing materials such as resumes, project sheets, and proposal materials. Manage and produce industry and project‑specific award submissions. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Technical Writing, Graphic Design, or equivalent work experience. 0–4 years of experience in marketing within a fast‑paced corporate environment; experience in the architecture/engineering/construction (A/E/C) field is desirable. Excellent technical writing and copy‑editing skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. High level of working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically InDesign (desired). Experience developing RFQ and RFP responses (desired). Confidence in leading operations project teams and collaborating with executive leadership individually and in group settings. Demonstrated strengths in teamwork, organization, multi‑tasking, and project management (plus). Working knowledge of CRM systems, especially Microsoft Dynamics (plus).
