Unit Highlights

The position is located in the Medical/Renal unit, offering a dynamic environment for healthcare professionals. Below are the specific details regarding the role:

Position Details

• Unit/Cost Center: Medical/Renal 6th Floor
• Shift: 7A-7P or 7P-7A

Required Skills

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following:

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Preferred Skills

Additional skills that will enhance your application include:

• At least 1 year of experience in med/surg nursing
• Experience with Meditech software

Typical Procedures Performed

Included in the nursing duties are various medical procedures, such as:

• Intravenous (IV) starts and therapy
• Wound care management
• Patient assessment and intervention implementation
• Management of drainage devices
• Central line management
• Administration of blood products

Unit Guidelines and Policies

All unit guidelines and policies will be addressed upon arrival to the unit. It is imperative that the RN is familiar with the National Patient Safety Goals.

Dress Code

All staff are expected to adhere to the following dress code:

• Scrub Color: Navy
• Closed-toe shoes
• Tattoos must be appropriately covered
